Parris, a Seattle artist. What became of Parris?

I walked down the hill to all the shops in Fremont and stopped to look at this mural. There used to be more of them in Seattle by this artist back in the '90s. The name of the artist is Parris. What became of Parris? If anyone knows, I'd love to learn what you know.

I've been wondering the same thing. I still see sandwich boards painted by him at various places (I think Endless Knot in Belltown is one of them).

Hey, I know you! Yeah, there is nothing when I do a search for Parris. It's quite a mystery. I wonder if any of the businesses that still use Parris art might know something. It's been so long.

Well, there's a new artist with mural art, similar in spirit to Parris. This artist goes by "henry." Not me, but I wish I could take credit for it. I'll have to get some pics of this stuff. It's great.

The Parris you are curious about is indeed alive and well, and still living in Seattle. Unfortunately however, he no longer paints. He has lost his muse. Instead he now devotes his free time to traveling abroad, eating great food and making love:) Hopefully someday he will be inspired to pick up a brush again. He has something very special.

I hope to meet with Parris someday and have a good chat, a good laugh and just lift each other up a bit. As you say, Anonymous, he appears to be doing quite well if he is enjoys the joys of travel, good food and making love. Much of the rest of the world, not all but much, can be a bunch of baloney, right?
